Slash (with Myles Kennedy) Announces New Album and Tour
We’ve known that Slash (official title: Slash Ft. Myles Kennedy & the Conspirators) would be releasing a new album this fall for some time now, but we’ve finally got some details: Living the Dream will be produced by Michael “Elvis” Baskette and will come out September 21st via Slash’s own label Snakepit Records in partnership with Roadrunner Records.
We’ve also known there would be an accompanying tour, and now we’ve got the deets on that, too: it’ll start on September 13th in Los Angeles (duh) and run for a month, hitting mostly major markets and looping back to California with its final show at the Aftershock Festival.
The timing coincides with reports that Axl Rose will be working on new music with AC/DC. In other words, it’s gonna be quite a while until GN’R release any new music (if they ever do).
Slash fanclub and Citi cardmembers can get presale tickets starting today (Tuesday, June 19) at 10am local time through Thursday, June 21 at 10pm. General onsale starts Friday, June 22 at 10:00am. All tickets available here. Each ticket purchased online to a headlining show (festival appearances don’t count) will include a digital copy of Living the Dream.
