This New Song from Khôrada (ex-Agalloch, ex-Giant Squid) is “Gold”

Khôrada, the new project featuring three dudes who used to be in Agalloch (guitarist Don Anderson, bassist Jason Walton, and drummer Aesop Dekker) and one dude who used to be Giant Squid (vocalist Aaron John Gregory), have released a second single from their first album, Salt. It’s called “Glacial Gold,” and it’s probably much closer in sound to what fans were expecting from this project than it’s predecessor, “Ossify,” was. Moodier than an adolescent (Gregory really let his inner Pete Steele loose for this one), “Gold” is still not quite an amalgamation of the members’ previous projects, but it’s within spitting distance for sure. You’ll get no complaints from me.

Check out “Glacial Gold” below. Salt comes out July 20 on Prophecy Productions. Pre-order it here.
