Tour Alert: Carach Angren, Mors Principium Est, Wolfheart

I never got super into Carach Angren for no other reason than I simply never spent much time with their music. I recall enjoying a few tracks of theirs that I’ve heard but never dug much deeper. Again, there’s no real reason, and certainly no malice — there’s just only so much time in the day and SO many talented bands releasing new music, ya know?

So perhaps the band’s upcoming North American headline tour — their first after several support runs — is the kick in the pants I need to finally give this band a fair shot. Seeing a band live is always a great introduction, right? And what’s more, the two openers are a veritable who’s who of classic European melodeath: Mors Principium Est and Wolfheart! Those two rarely tour the U.S. so that’ll provide extra inspiration to make sure I’m in the room and ready for Carach Angren as well. Empyrean Throne will join for roughly a week’s worth of dates in the middle of the run.
