Hellyeah Post Video Tribute to Vinnie Paul

The effects of the loss of Vinnie Paul to the metal community cannot be understated. We’re going to be celebrating his life for months (years, even), and with good reason: the man was a damn legend.

While Vinnie’s Hellyeah bandmates Tom Maxwell and Chad Gray both shared some words of their own on Vinnie’s death (and, of course, his life), the band as an entity has been mostly quiet until now. Earlier today they released a short tribute to Vinnie, which you can watch below.

Vinnie’s former Pantera bandmate Rex Brown issued a lengthy written tribute yesterday while Phil Anselmo his shared only a sparse photo on social media and a quick video message at the public memorial in Dallas.
