Dee Snider Releases New Inspirational Kitchen Magnet Song and Video, “Become the Storm”

Dee Snider’s new solo album, For the Love of Metal, was produced by Jamey Jasta. I don’t know if Jasta had any hand in writing the lyrics, but holy moly, does “Become the Storm” feel like it was written to be hung in a high school guidance counselor’s office. That the video isn’t just a still image of a kitten hanging from a literal thread is a wasted opportunity.

For the Love of Metal, it drops July 27 on Napalm, and it features guest appearances from Howard Jones (Light the Torch, ex-Killswitch Engage), Mark Morton (Lamb of God), Alissa White-Gluz (Arch Enemy), Joel Grind and Nick Bellmore (Toxic Holocaust), and Charlie Bellmore (Kingdom of Sorrow). Pre-order it here.
