Machine Head Announce Second Leg of North American “Catharsis” Tour
Great news: not only have the mighty Machine Head re-scheduled six live dates that were previously postponed after frontman Robb Flynn contracted a severe viral bronchitis lung infection back in February, but they’ve announced a whole lotta NEW dates, too. AND they are, once again, doing the whole “An Evening With” thing, meaning there’s no opener — you can devote all your energy to getting great Head. The press release announcing this latest leg of the tour promises the band will play “over 2 1/2 hours of classic and new material,” but I think that may actually be a conservative estimate — I’ve seen MH do the “Evening With” thing twice now, and both shows lasted at least three hours. But Hell, even if they played half as long, it’s worth the cost of a ticket.
