Listen to Bruce Dickinson’s Audition Tape for Iron Maiden

Wowee wow wow wow! This has apparently been floating around for awhile — it was uploaded to YouTube in 2013 — but it’s new to me, and presumably, it’s new to plenty of you as well: Bruce Dickinson’s 1981 audition tape for Iron Maiden, (as unearthed by Metal Injection). I’m not even entirely sure why Dickinson had to audition for Maiden, given that they were already familiar with his then-band, Samson, but hey, whatever. This is a piece of metal history, and it’s pretty damned interesting.
