Ghost Bath Drop Off Tour with Abigail Williams
Back in June, all seemed right in the world for Abigail Williams’ summer/fall tour with Wolvhammer and Ghost Bath. Great line-up, a ton of dates–nothing to worry about!
But then Wolvhammer went through a weird existential crisis, and had to drop off, only to be replaced by Wolf King. And now, according to Lambgoat, Ghost Bath have also dropped off the tour midway through.
The band released the following statement via their Facebook:
“We have some bad news. In light of recent mechanical issues, we are forced to cut our tour run short. Apologies to all of the fans that were planning to come see us. The tour has been a lot of fun and Abigail Williams and Wolf King are great guys. Make sure to still go out and support the remaining shows, Shadow Woods IV, and BBQ + Metal 2 with Revocation and Abigail Williams.”
God DAMN, man, what ancient haunted idol did the dudes in Abigail Williams accidentally piss on? This tour has been fraught as Hell! Of course, we’re also curious as to what technical issues could so fuck Ghost Bath this far into tour that they’d have to bail on the remaining dates. Did their backline fall apart? Did someone get sick? Could they not borrow equipment from one of the other bands?
Whatever the case, we’re sorry to hear that Ghost Bath are leaving, as they were supposed to play Saint Vitus tonight. We wish them well. Catch Abigail Williams and Wolf King at one of the remaining dates below:
