Rivers of Nihil, Wolfheart, Inferi and More Chosen for Taco Bell’s “Feed the Beat” Program

I’m pretty sure it’s a precondition for joining a metal band that you’ve got to like Taco Bell. Nay… love it. Every single metal band I know basically lives at the place while they’re on the road. It checks so many boxes! Taco Bell is 1) delicious, 2) cheap, 3) fast, 4) fucking everywhere, 5) vegetarian and vegan-friendly, 6) did I mention delicious?

So it’s no surprise that Taco Bell has chosen a bunch of metal bands for their latest entry of their “Feed the Beat” program, in which the fast food chain gifts touring bands $500 to spend at their locations while on tour. Metal Insider tells us that Rivers of Nihil, Wolfheart, Inferi, Tyrant and Striker made the cut for the 2018-2019 class. That’s only five metal groups out of 1,500 total bands, but hey, I love the idea that some big wig at Taco Bell was exposed to these bands through whatever marketing coordinator chose them. Hooray!
