Corey Taylor Heard a Few Clips of New Periphery Music (So Can You!) and Here is What He Thinks

Various members of Periphery’s social network accounts have been quite active over the past few days as the band hunkers down to record their fourth album, tentatively titled Periphery IV: The Corey Taylor Saga.

The band posted a quick update video from the studio yesterday showing Misha, Jake and Mark laying down some guitar parts with Spencer present as well. You can hear a few clips of unfinished new music, and it sounds… well… Periphery-y! There isn’t enough here to get a solid picture of what the album, or even one song, will sound like, but from a personal perspective I would really like to hear the band take some departures and risks this time around. It’s time, you know? We shall see.

Corey Taylor had nothing whatsoever to do with this video, but if you’re reading this I already got ad revenue from gullible Slipknot fans so that’s all that matters. BWAHAHAHA
