Nita Strauss Gets Pandemonious on New Track “Pandemonium 2.0”

0

I’m pretty stoked for the upcoming shred tour featuring Nita Strauss and Angel Vivaldi. What I’m most hoping for is a live reenactment of the choreographed dancing in this video, backup dancers and all (sourced locally each night?), unlikely as that is… but a man can dream, right? At the very least it’s reasonable to think Angel and Nita will be playing the track live together each night, and that, too, would be sick.

Nita will likely be playing material from her new album Controlled Chaos on the run, and that’s a sweet deal too ’cause it’s fantastic stuff. Earlier this month we heard “Our Most Desperate Hour” and now we get “Pandemonium 2.0,” which you can stream below [Update, 3:15pm: It has come to our attention that this is remixed and remastered version of a previously released track. It’s still great. Onward! – Ed.]. The title doesn’t lie, folks: there’s all sorts of guitar pandemonium all over this thing. Like the previous single, it shows off how talented Nita is as both a player and writer, so jam it below and see what you think. Is it just me or do the rhythm chords in the chorus kind of sound like an homage to Guns N’ Roses’ “Don’t Cry?”

Controlled Chaos comes out on November 16th via Sumerian Records; pre-order here. Catch Nita on tour with fellow shredder Angel Vivaldi this fall; dates underneath the embed.
