0

The charity concert Metallica held for their All Within My Hands foundation, an acoustic show held at San Francisco’s Masonic earlier this month, raised more than $1.3 million to be donated to Feeding America and The American Association of Community Colleges. Now Metallica plan to continue the giving with a special limited edition vinyl release of that concert, the proceeds of which will also go to help those in need.

Helping Hands…Live & Acoustic at The Masonic features acoustic renditions of Metallica classics, deep cuts and a handful of covers, including songs by Deep Purple, Nazareth, Bob Seger and Blue Öyster Cult. The double album was mixed by Greg Fidelman, was mastered for vinyl by Reuben Cohen is at Lurssen Mastering and will be issued on 140g colored vinyl.
