Machine Head’s Robb Flynn Will Perform at “Stars to the Rescue” Rescue Animal Benefit

You aren’t one of those selfish asshats that buys pets from breeders, are you?

Good! Because if you live in the Bay Area you’re going to want to attend the 28th annual “Stars to the Rescue” benefit on January 26, 2019 at Lesher Center for the Arts in Walnut Creek, CA. Not only is the event for a great cause, but Robb Flynn will be performing a special set of covers with an assist from some friends (he doesn’t specify who), his third time participating in the event.

The event is being hosted by legendary MLB manager Tony LaRussa’s ARF organization (Animal Rescue Foundation) which rescues animals that are in need, in this moment in particular those displaced by the California wildfires. The event is all seated, so don’t expect any moshpits, and Flynn instructs attendees to “dress nice,” but don’t let that make you think it won’t be any fun: he promises a “select set of bangers” from his Birthday Bash set, including old school ’70s jams. Bruce Hornsby will also be performing.

Purchase tickets here. The event WILL sell out, so get yours ASAP. Watch a brief video message from Flynn announcing his participation below.
