Bury Your Dead Release New Single “Collateral” After Long Hiatus

0

Bury Your Dead’s last album, Mosh N’ Roll, was released in 2011, and we’ve been wanting more ever since. It now appears that the band has finally come out of their eight-year hiatus with the official premiere of their newest song, “Collateral.”

This shit is hard. Like, bro dudes smashing beer bottles on their foreheads out of pure, unadulterated heaviness type of hard. I can only hope this single is just a warm-up for to an upcoming album, because it’s readily apparent these dudes haven’t missed a beat.

If you live in California, you’re in luck: you can catch Bury Your Dead performing their single Saturday, March 23, in addition to play the setlist from their 2005 DVD, Alive, in its entirety. The band will also welcome their former vocalist, Myke Terry, for a guest appearance. Current vocalist Mat Bruso took to express his excitement:

“I have wanted to do this for a LONG time. Myke is such a talented singer and the songs he wrote with this band are some of our best. I can’t wait to share the stage! One night only. You coming?”
