Video: Cattle Decapitation Debut New Song “An Extreme Indifference to Human Life”

Great news: Cattle Decapitation, the rare metal band that seems to actually get better over time, have commenced recording their new album. Also great news: they are once again working with producer Dave Otero, with whom they also collaborated on their last two albums, Monolith of Inhumanity and The Anthropocene Extinction.

Since 2006’s Karma.Bloody.Karma, they’ve released a new album pretty much every three years like clockwork… but Extinction came out in 2015, which means we are now overdue. WAY TO PULL A TOOL, GUYS!!!

Kidding aside: the band debuted a new song, “An Extreme Indifference to Human Life,” in Albuquerque, NM on May 3 — just about a week before they hit the studio — and although the fan-filmed footage is obviously somewhat lacking in terms of A/V quality, it sounds extremely promising. I’d feel confident wagering that the group’s next offering will be another winner.

Presumably, we’re gonna find out before the year is through. In the meantime, check out “An Extreme Indifference to Human Life” below:
