Here are things I didn’t know until I checked Blabbermouth this morning:

1. The bass player for my absolute favorite band in the entire world, Dope, is named Derek “Tripp” Tribbett, aka “Sinister.” Because apparently “Virus” was already taken.
2. Daisy from Rock of Love 2, a.k.a. The World’s Best Argument for the Illegalization of Plastic Surgery, is getting her own show, the horribly titled Daisy of Love.
3. “Sinister” will be a contestant on this show. Which means eventually, these two might fuck:

Unfortunately, it’s not the guy who directed The Dark Knight.

No no, it’s Joel Schumacher – who, in addition to the franchise-killing Batman & Robin has brought us such gems as 8MM, Phone Booth, The Number 23, and the movie version of The Phantom of the Opera. So clearly, Scars on Broadway are going for quality here.

To give you some idea of what we’re in for, here’s the last music video Schumacher directed:

I know what you’re thinking: “When did MetalSucks become a gay porn site?” (“When they started endorsing Avenged Sevenfold!” Oh!) But the photo to your right actually comes from Metal Douches Metal Dudes, a website that describes itself thusly:

“Metal Dudes is the first REAL male metal modeling site! This Site is more than looks, this site advertises guys that can show off their cutting edge and ‘in-your-face’ personalities in an amazing photograph.”

Well. Clearly, this site is filling some hole in the metal community that desperately needed to be filled (“Heh-heh. He said ‘fill the hole.’”). I mean, who saw Pete Steel in Playguy all those years ago and DIDN’T think “Gosh, I wish that was me?”
