Having heard all of Suspension of Disbelief (since MetalSucks is releasing the album digitally — duh!) I’m having a hard time finding the words to express how fucking awesome the record sounds (courtesy of a killer mixing job by Knife the Glitter’s Kevin Antreassian). “Mechanical Seas” is definitely one of my favorite tracks from the record, but it’s just the tip of the iceberg compared to the rest of the mind-bending progressive death metal contained therein.

I give the band credit for having the sense of humor to address Lambgoat haters head-on, but their answers are mostly kind of lame. You know what I’d like to see? The members of Oceano in a live chat room with the Lambgoat Van-Flip Brigade and the MetalSucks Haterade Mafia. THAT shit would be entertaining! Hey Earache, get on it!

Last month when we posted a special Lambgoat edition of our column Board to Death — in which we make fun of what people are saying on the various Interwebs message boards — we got quite the barrage of Lambsuckers posting comments. Including this gem of a video, which starts with Lambgoat’s announcement of the death of Hawthorne Heights guitarist Casey Calvert and devolves into some of the most hateful yet funniest shit-slinging we’ve seen that doesn’t have to do with Limp Bizkit. This is a true find, and whoever compiled it is kind of a genius. Enjoy. Prepare to laugh and be disgusted with humanity at the same time.
