NEW VIDEO FROM THE COLOR MORALE

As a man in my early 30s, it’s a little weird for me to go to metalcore/mosh4christ shows by myself, because I’m literally twice as old as most of the other people there. On the bright side, that means there’s never a line at the bar, but it also means that I’m stuck at the bar (aka “retirement home”) with my show buddy Shawn, laughing at teenagers while we try to forget that we have one foot in the grave.

THE CHARIOT MAKE GREAT MUSIC, PICK GOD-AWFUL OPENERS FOR TOUR

Well, it’s 2010 and The Chariot are through playing second fiddle. After spending a significant chunk of last year on the proverbial road opening for bands like Norma Jean and Evergreen Terrace, Josh Scogin’s band of metalcore brothers will finally–and rightfully–venture out on a lengthy American headlining tour of their very own later this month. Unfortunately, said tour will feature some of the blandest, most generic opening acts that heavy music has to offer today.
