VEST METAL CHAMPS 3 INCHES OF BLOOD RELEASE “METAL WOMAN” VIDEO

0

3 Inches of Blood were ahead of their time! I had this realization during a conversation with a friend the other day, in which we were discussing 3 Inches of Blood’s initial buzz-heavy rise (circa 2004), their subsequent fall from grace, and their sudden re-emergence over the past year as Vest Metal heavyweights. When Advance & Vanquish dropped in 2004 the metal world just wasn’t ready for the whole trad/retro-metal revival thing yet, and 3 Inches of Blood’s music mostly fell on deaf ears. But they were ultimately the fearless pioneers of the recent Vest Metal revival, setting the table for all the bands that would come to dine later. Without them, the success achieved by Ghost, White Wizzard, Holy Grail, Christian Mistress, The Devil’s Blood, etc, etc, etc would never have been possible!

Of course, 3 Inches of Blood’s recent resurgence could have something to do with the fact that their newest album, Long Live Heavy Metal, might just be their best yet. Pay your respects to the ultimate champs of modern Vest Metal with their babe-tastic new video for “Metal Woman,” via Loudwire, below.
