IS GRINDHOUSE THE MOST METAL MOVIE OF THE YEAR?Grindhouse is an upcoming “double feature” homage to 70’s exploitation films featuring a zombie movie (“Planet Terror”) directed by Robert Rodriguez and a car chase/slasher flick hybrid (“Deathproof”) directed by Quentin Tarantino. It will arrive in theaters complete with fake trailers, one of which was directed by metal’s own number one auteur, Rob Zombie.

The film’s new television spots, which debuted earlier this week, feature Killswitch Engage’s “My Curse” and Nonpoint’s “Bullet with a Name.” This should not, of course, be taken as any indication that these songs will appear in the movie itself or on the soundtrack, but I can tell you from experience, if you watch these ads while fucked up, the songs suddenly make the movie seem like just about the coolest-looking flick ever (and hey, using Nine Inch Nails in all its trailers did wonders for 300).

Check out at the spots here.
