THE BLACK CROWES FLY BACK ON THE RADAR
The Black Crowes have finished recorded 16 tracks for a new album, set to be mixed in September and tentatively released Spring 2008. The album was produced collaboratively by Paul Stacey (Oasis, Chris Robinson, The Kooks) and the Black Crowes, and will be the first studio album released by the band since 2001’s Lions.
The question I have regarding the Black Crowes is this: how many people still care? That’s not meant to be a stab, but a legitimate question. I could see the Black Crowes touring theaters and immediately selling them out, but I could also see them playing arenas and scraping by to sell enough tickets. I really have no idea. Do people still care about this band?
