l_49eccc9ff2890a48747298816667b3b6.jpgI know that everyone’s really excited about the LoG/KsE/DevilD/Soil…work (couldn’t find a way to make that last one rhyme) tour, but we’re easily just as stoked to see Chimaira hit the road with Terror, Kataklysm, and Dino Cazares’ new band everyone but us seems to dig, Divine Heresy; it’s like a bizarro-world version of the LoG/KsE tour, exclusively featuring bands that don’t sell as well as they deserve to. But let’s be real, dude: the pit at any gig with Chimaira and Terror is going to get someone killed. Rad.

So we’re also excited that Terror are also putting out a new EP through Reaper Records, Rhythm Among the Chaos, in anticipation of this tour. Terror are generally known for playing the same brand of modernist hardcore as Hatebreed – in fact, one of the guitar players quit the band last year to go join Hatebreed – but they have a little more street cred than Jamey Jasta and company, and their most recent full-length, Always the Hard Way, was considerably more old school in its sensibilities that anything Hatebreed has done (which may be why Jasta went off and did that Icepick project – to have a chance to play genuine hardcore absent of Slayer riffs).

In any case, Terror’s Rhythm Among the Chaos drops October 30, in CD and 7″ formats, for all you vinyl fetishists out there. Visit the band’s MySpace page for more details, as well as tour dates with Chimaira, Kataklysm, and Divine Heresy.
