AMAZON MUSIC STORE GAFFE: PREVIEW “JOHANN” SEBASTIAN BACH’S ANGEL DOWN

50

Johann Sebastian Bach

The oft-balleyhooed Amazon Music Store has committed yet another gaffe. A press release this morning announced that the Amazon Music Store had audio samples of ex-Skid Row singer Sebastian Bach’s new solo album Angel Down (out Nov. 20) — but anyone who clicked through to listen would find such songs as “Love Is a Bitchslap,” “Stuck Inside” and “American Metalhead” credited not to the Celebrity Rap Superstar but to the 17th/18th century German composer and organist Johann Sebastian Bach.

Maybe Axl Rose — who appears on three tracks of the album — decided to buy some extra time to finish Chinese Democracy by turning the clock back 250 years. But seriously folks, wouldn’t a metal version of “Toccata and Fugue in D Minor” be pretty awesome?
