KICK OFF YOUR WEEK WITH SOME NEW CONVERGE

We’ve gotten to hear a shitty live bootleg of “Runaway,” the new Converge song which appears on their new split 7″ with Dropdead — but now the official studio version is available, too. You can check it out on the band’s Facebook page.

I’m still wrapping my head around the song (which is some crazy, crazy, crazy shit), but I can say that “Runaway” does not just sound like a leftover from Axe to Fall. It’s a perfect illustration of one of the reasons we love Converge so very much — unlike too many hardcore bands, Converge never keep evolving and never make the same record twice.
