HEAR SNIPPETS OF EVERY SONG ON JEFF LOOMIS’ PLAINS OF OBLIVION

In case “The Ultimatum,” the new song (featuring Tony MacAlpine!) that Jeff Loomis unveiled last month, wasn’t enough to get you excited for the former Nevermore guitarist’s upcoming Plains of Oblivion, this new teaser video oughta do the trick. It contains too-brief samples of every song on the album, all of which sound Loomisescent (see what I there?). I don’t think there was ever much doubt in most fans’ minds that Oblivion was gonna be great, but now that we’re actually getting to hear some music, it’s pretty much confirmed.

Plains of Oblivion comes out April 10. Jeff Loomis will be part of a MetalSucks-sponsored tour with Protest the Hero, Periphery, The Safety Fire, and Today I Caught the Plague starting at the end of this month; get dates here.
