PHOTOS: GWAR, MUNICIPAL WASTE AND GHOUL IN NEW JERSEY, MARCH 18, 2012

Sorting through Mariel “Tormentia” Pietrykoski’s photos of Gwar at the Starland Ballroom on March 18 made me realize that it’s been waaaaay too long since I’ve seen Gwar live and in their intergalactic flesh. Way too long. Like… Sounds of the Underground, that’s how long! Looking through her photos also made me fear for the life of her camera gear, but she’s an intrepid one, that Mariel, and surely she brought along some kind of plastic cover to protect her gear (and herself) from the various fluids that rain down from the stage at any Gwar show.
