ABOUT A MINUTE OF NEW ENSLAVED

Hey, remember that time Vince and I were interviewing Grutle Kjellson from Enslaved and Vince accidentally picked up and started to drink Grutle’s beer? Holy shit, that was hilarious. And I think Vince may technically still owe Grutle a beer. I may never be able to think about Enslaved without thinking about that moment again.

ANYWAY, Enslaved are in the studio, and recently NRK (which is like Norway’s version of NPR) did an interview with them, which they were kind enough to print in English, here. And that’s exciting, but, better still, they also got a sixty-four second clip of a new, still-unnamed Enslaved song. I don’t really know how to describe it other than to say it sounds like something which would be on the next Enslaved album — it is undeniably Enslaved, and it is not exactly like the stuff they’ve done before. In any case, it made me excited about the possibility of new Enslaved… as if I wasn’t already excited.
