NERGAL REJECTED MY BOOK COVER

When Nergal announced that he was penning his autobiography last month, I went to a lot of trouble to design a book cover for him. Okay, okay, so I may have found inspiration in another celebrities’ memoirs, but good artists borrow and great artists steal, right?

Now the actual cover for the book — or, at least, the version which will be released in Nergal’s homeland, Poland — has been released:

And it’s okay. I understand that maybe Nergal isn’t pursuing the same crowd as Sidney Poitier. I can handle rejection. My feelings aren’t… hurt… would you just excuse me for one moment?
