WHAT DO YOU THINK OF TURBONEGRO??

Turbonegro are another one of those bands who definitely aren’t metal but seem to be much loved by metalheads (our own Kip Wingerschmidt and Leyla Fordhave sung their praises in the past). Maybe it’s the gruff vocals (courtesy new singer Tony Sylvester here) that make them palatable to us fans of the uber-heavy, maybe its our affection for the sugar-sweet riffery of yesteryear, maybe it’s our infatuation with less br00tal / more rock bands like Queens of the Stone Age, or maybe we just like having FUN. Whatever the case, I concur with Kip and Leyla: this band rules.
