MEEK IS MURDER READY VINYL RELEASE, ANNOUNCE NEW TOUR DATES
This is terrific news!
Meek is Murder have announced that their Kurt Ballou-produced album Algorithms, which was originally released by MetalSucks last year, will be made available as a limited edition vinyl on July 31 via Granite House Records. There will only be 500 copies pressed — 400 clear copies, and 100 white, hand-numbered copies. Pre-order it here. The band will be playing a special record release show with Vilipend and Tiger Flowers at Lit Lounge on Manhattan on August 20; the gig will include giveaways and special surprise guests.
The band will also be giving away a copy of the Algorithms vinyl via their Facebook page; go there for details. The winner be chosen at random on Monday, July 30.
And if that weren’t exciting enough, Meek is Murder and Vilipend are also heading out on the road together in August. I haven’t seen Vilipend live yet, but I’m willing to bet they’re great; I know I’ve said this like a gajillion times before, but Meek is Murder live is an AWESOME sight to behold, and they never disappoint. So definitely get your ass to a show if you can here. Tour dates are after the jump!
