NEW TRIOSCAPES MUSIC VIDEO MAKES ME VERY EXCITEBIKE FOR THEIR TOUR
This is the best kind of music video, IMO: plain footage of the dudes jamming out a song in their rehearsal space. Plot-led music videos like the High on Fire one we posted earlier today are great — for that kind of music — but for this kind of stuff all I wanna see is the guys playing. And who better than these dudes? The trio, consisting of Dan Briggs (BTBAM) on bass, Walter Fancourt on sax/flute and Matt Lynch on drums, has released an absolute doozy of a jazz-fusion record with metal overtones, and their new video for “Curse of the Ninth” is the second to be shot in this style.
From what I can tell, the audio you’re hearing in this video was recorded live during its filming, making the whole thing even more badass. Watch:
