MORS PRINCIPIUM EST: NEW ALBUM ON THE WAY!

Frank from Metal Injection must be plotzing right now. Not only are Wintersun about to release the first of two (two!) new albums, but Finnish melodic death metallers Mors Principium Est have just announced plans to release new music (new music!) as well. Frank is so excited he just offered to buy me a bottle of WhistlePig Rye Whiskey to celebrate the occasion; thanks, dude!

The new album will be the first since 2007’s Liberation = Termination and will be called …And Death Said Live; check out the artwork above. The band has said they expect a December release via AFM Records. The band now has an entirely new guitar corps — Andy Gillion and Andhe Chandler make their debut on this release — so we’ll see if MPE’s signature sound is still intact.
