ENABLER: ALL HAIL THE TOUR
SPOILER ALERT: there will be a place for Enabler’s All Hail the Void on my year-end list in December. The entire thing melts faces like it was the lady ghost in Raiders of the Lost Ark, but what really locked me in was the fact that it has a plethora of awesome elephants marching riffs. It’s like the members of the band got a Ph.D from the Hannibal School of Marching Elephants and couldn’t wait to show off… and God love me for it.
Now the band has announced a nearly month-long tour in support of the album, to kick off less than a month from now!
And in case my exclamation mark just now didn’t make it abundantly clear, I’m very excited! If there’s one thing I love better than great elephants marching riffs on an album, it’s great elephants marching riffs live. I would not be all that shocked if this band actually had an angry circus elephant on tour with them. But being trampled to death while listening to the final forty seconds “All Hail the Void” would be a helluva way to go.
