Call of Duty: All That Remains

A couple of years ago, every time I went to the movies, they showed one of two music video National Guard recruitment ads: one featured 3 Doors Down and a some very Michael Bay-esque portrayals of wars past and present, and one featured Kid Rock and NASCAR, which I found particularly confusing because what the fuck does NASCAR have to do with the National Guard?, but whatever.

I mention these because I hadn’t thought about them in some time (I know, I know: “But how could you forget something so special???”), until I saw All That Remains’ video for “Stand Up.” I was watching it and my mouth started watering and I was all, “Why do I suddenly have a craving for popcorn and Sour Patch Kids?”, when suddenly I realized the video was giving me PTSD. But then I put on Gojira and hugged a tree, and all was right with the world again. Phew!
