Armored Saint Team Up with Members of Amon Amarth and Fates Warning to Cover Metallica and Slayer

Metal Blade Records celebrated their thirtieth anniversary this past Friday night with a show at the House of Blues in Los Angeles, which featured Armored Saint, Sacred Reich and Gypsy Hawk… which would be a cool-enough line-up, but Armored Saint also ripped through some killer covers of Metallica’s “Hit the Lights” and Slayer’s “Die by the Sword” with labelmates Johan Hegg (Amon Amarth) and Ray Alder (Fates Warning), respectively. The inevitable-fan-filmed video isn’t premium quality, but it’s as close as you’re gonna get to being there until you invent a time machine, so should stop complaining and watch, okay?
