New Trailer and Poster for Rob Zombie’s The Lords of Salem

We are now just a little over two months away from the release of Rob Zombie’s new film, The Lords of Salem — so, of course, the promotional campaign for the movie is beginning to kick into high gear. Last week saw the release of a somewhat odd poster; today we have a new, more traditional-for-a-horror-flick poster (above, duh), which features Zombie’s wife/muse, Sherri Moon Zombie, dressed up as Zombie’s guitarist, John 5. Additionally, there’s now a new trailer, which you can watch below.

Visually, I gotta say, this looks pretty bad-ass. The question is, will the movie actually be interesting and fun, like Zombie’s The Devil’s Rejects, or more inane bullshit, like Zombie’s Halloween movies?

The Lords of Salem comes out April 19.
