New LL Cool J Album to Feature Eddie Van Halen and Tom Morello

Did you know that legendary actor LL Cool J, perhaps best known for his powerful and witty performance in Deep Blue Sea, is also a rapper? It’s true! And he’s pretty good at it, too. Look:

So. Cool J has announced that he has a new album, Authentic, dropping on April 30, and that the album will not only feature a guest appearance by another great actor-turned-rapper, Snoop Doggy Dogg, but contributions from both Eddie Van Halen and Tom Morello as well! Look, here are photos off Eddie and LL working in the studio with no producer, engineer, or assistance of any kind:

Eddie apparently plays on the twelfth track of the album, which may or may not be called “Getting Paper.” Do you think it’s possible Van Cool J wrote a song about going to Staples? THAT WOULD BE SO DOPE!!!
