Varg Vikernes Announces New Burzum Album

Terrific news for lovers of music that makes farting sound melodious: Varg Vikernes will release a new Burzum album on May 27 via Byelobog Productions. Although initially reported to be entitled Sôl Austan, Mâni Vestan (Metal Injection says it means “East of the Sun, West of the Moon”), sources have confirmed to MetalSucks that Vikernes has now re-titled the release Neverblack as a response to the new album from The Black Dahlia Murder, a band the black metal legend dislikes because they “behave like the stereotypical Negroes.”

In semi-related news, 80s teen heart throb C. Thomas Howell has also announced that he’s getting into the metal game, and will release his debut album, Sometimesblack, on June 4. Gotta be curious to hear what that sounds like!
