As I Lay Dying Drop off Killswitch Engage Tour, Darkest Hour Step In

In light of Tim Lambesis’ sudden legal woes, As I Lay Dying have officially announced that they will not be participating in their planned run with Killswitch Engage, Miss May I and Affiance this spring. Not that this news is surprising. I’d post the band’s statement on the matter, but come on… it basically amounts to “our singer done be locked up so we can’t,” although I give them credit for trying to convey positive vibes.

American Swedecore pioneers Darkest Hour — who all the aforementioned bands should be thanking for their careers — have stepped in to take their place, a pretty sweet replacement if you ask us. This will be their first tour (I think?) with new drummer Travis Orbin, previously of Periphery. The Word Alive have been added to the bill too.
