Some Devin Townsend Non-Update Updates
It seems like things have been quiet on the Devin Townsend front for the past few months, but things are never truly quiet for Devy: he’s finishing up the Retinal box set, he’s been hard at work on his next record Casualties of Cool and he’s eyeing the long-awaited sequel to Ziltoid. Devy posted the following series of Tweets on Saturday:
So Casualties is one solid month from being ‘put to bed’ …as a result of it’s nature presenting itself recently, I am now cleared for Z2!

As a result, each project is ‘pure’ in my mind. Ziltoid is now not hindered by thoughts of Epicloud or Casualties. Thats how she rolls, =)

Devin tweeted that Casualties of Cool was “almost done” six months ago, so… don’t get too excited just yet. But I don’t think it’s unreasonably to expect to see Casualties of Cool — finally! — by the end of the year, with Z2 coming in the first half of 2014.
