OMG I <3 AGATG
If Arsonists Get All the Girls’ new video and single, “Beast Fist,” is any indication, than the Santa Cruz outfit has evolved from a whacky experimental deathcore group to a straight-up grindcore band… with whacky keyboards, natch. Which, as much as I liked the band’s The Game of Life-era sound, is fine with me! I fear some grind fans may stay away from this because of AGATG’s name/fashion sense/past history, which would be a mistake. “Beast Fist” will rip off more faces in less than a minute than entire Winds of Plague album will do in a lifetime. And The video has an appropriate lo-fi, DIY, schizophrenic feel. Give it a whirl and see whatcha think:
“Beast Fist” will appear on Arsonists Get All the Girls’ forthcoming album, Listen to the Color, which should be out in August.
