“Came Back Haunted:” The New Nine Inch Nails Song is Here!

Nine Inch Nails are back with a newly rejiggered lineup, a new record deal and a new album coming later this year. Metal Injection tipped us off to a Tweet from the band a couple of hours ago announcing that the new album will be called Hesitation Marks and will be released on September 3rd. and then followed that up just a few minutes ago with a link to stream a new song called “Came Back Haunted.” Stream it below!

On first pass I really dig the song; it’s not as immediately catchy or as guitar-heavy as “The Hand That Feeds” — the last big hype first single NIN released after some time off — but it’s certainly quite hooky in its own right. It’s dark, it’s synthy, it’s heavy on the electronica and it sounds like Nine Inch Fucking Nails. I’m ready for more.

“Came Back Haunted” will be available for download tomorrow, June 6th.
