Alright, so she’s not exactly Mike Portnoy, but I think we can all agree that it’s pretty badass to see of woman of that age playing drums that well and looking sharp with stick-flips to boot. Mama Neilstein decided she was gonna take drum lessons in a mid-life crisis sort of moment a decade or so ago, and, well, let’s just say it didn’t go quite as well as she’d hoped.

So just who IS this mysterious woman? Not a grandma at all, it turns out, as she never even had kids. But she did play in a number of bands in her younger years, according to this report from a local news station in Onalaska, WI:
