Black-Sky_Final_BandLogos-1000pxI can honestly say that this is the first time I’ve ever felt tempted to go to Denver.

Skinless vocalist Sherwood Webber, in association with Black Sky Brewery and Relapse Records, has organized the first-ever Denver Black Sky fest, and the line-up is nothing short of insane. Check this roster out:

  • Dying Fetus
  • Ghoul
  • Exhumed
  • Skinless
  • Speedwolf
  • Power Trip
  • Mammoth Grinder
  • Call of the Void
  • Reproacher
  • Weekend Nachos
  • Iron Reagan
  • Axeslasher
  • Primitive Man
  • Vimana
  • Of Feather and Bone
  • Native Daughters
  • Black Sleep of Kali
  • Dead Temple
  • Flight of Sleipnir

Holy shit, that sounds like one incredibly fun, incredibly exhausting day. If you live within driving distance and you don’t go, The Ghost of Dio judges you.

Tickets go on sale this coming Monday, August 24. They’re only twenty-five bucks in advance, which is a steal if you ask me; assuming it doesn’t sell out, they’ll go up to thirty bucks the day of the show. There’s also a fifty-dollar VIP package which includes a limited edition poster, a pint glass, a gift bag from Relapse, a limited edition split 7″ (presumably featuring two bands on the bill), and a VIP viewing area with food and snacks. SNACKS!!!! Man, it just does not get better than that.
