35 Seconds of New East of the Wall Music is Extremely Promising

Bassist? We don’t need no stinkin’ bassist!

Redaction Artifacts will be East of the Wall’s first album since losing bassist Brett Bamberger to Revocation, but while the band’s public dong-showing quotient may instantly have dropped by 100% their music doesn’t seem to have suffered one bit. Ex-guitarist Chris Alfano is now handling bass duties, and honestly — no disrespect to Brett who is a MONSTER of a player — if I hadn’t already known that there’s a new bass player on this recording I’d never have guessed. Longtime guitarist Kevin Conway also left the band, but I feel like we’ll need to hear of the album to know how that’s effected the band. It’s only 35 seconds of music, but it’s gnarly:
