Eyehategod Announce New Drummer


Following Joey LaCaze’s untimely death from respiratory failure in August, Melvins drummer Dale Crover filled-in with Eyehategod at the Housecore Horror Film Festival this past weekend. Still, it’s been unclear who would be playing drums with the band moving forward — a pressing issue, ’cause the band has a brief tour that kicks off TONIGHT.

Well, now the question has been answered: the new drummer’s name is Aaron Hill, and he’s previously played with local New Orleans bands such as Missing Monuments and Mountain of Wizard.

EHGDRUMmediumres-e1383245849219I’m not familiar with Hill’s other work, and he obviously has some pretty big shoes to fill… still, I have in EHG to choose the right dude for the gig.

Hill makes his debut with Eyehategod tonight. Here are their upcoming tour dates:
