Famous Corporate Logos… Reimagined as Black Metal Logos

Artist Christophe Szpadjel has designed 7,000 some-odd logos for black metal bands since 1977. But apparently being the man behind the iconic logos of Emperor, Moonspell, Old Man’s Child, and Arcturus isn’t enough: Szpadjel has decided to offer his own grim take on logos of a different ilk, frost-ifying the famous typefaces of The New York Times, Google, Twitter, Apple and more.

I dig how Szpadjel was able to keep the unmistakeable character of the original logos intact while making them all that much more metal. Here are a few samples:
