Gridlink’s Final Album, Longhena, Has a Release Date!!!

It’s been almost a year since Gridlink announced that their final album, Longhena, would be out in the winter of 2013. That obviously didn’t happen, but they weren’t too far off with that release timeframe, as it turns out: Handshake, Inc. will release Longhena on February 19, both as a digital release and on vinyl… including an aqua-marine/blue vinyl edition, of which only 300 copies will be pressed. (SelfMadeGod and DiskUnion will be releasing the album on CD in Europe and Japan, respectively.)

That’s all the info we have right now, but with February 19 just around the corner, presumably we’ll get to hear some killer new Gridlink tunes soon. In the meantime, here’s a promo sheet for the record with a teeny-tiny bit of extra info (guest appearance!) and some poetic ramblings about the album’s creation and subject matter:
