Chimaira are Chaos, Wrapped in Violence

Just in time for the kick-off of their tour with Oceano, Iwrestledabearonce, Fit for An Autopsy and Reflections tonight, Chimaira have released a new video for their song “Wrapped in Violence.” The clip’s bleak imagery and sparse use of color is certainly appropriate to the lyrical themes of the song, which takes Winston Churchill’s famous 1939 quote about the actions of Russia (“a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma”) and both simplifies and expands that philosophical concept.
