Meshuggah Tease 25th Anniversary Celebration

Drummer Tomas Haake has posted the following communiqué on Meshuggah’s Facebook page:

I know what you’re all thinking: “Holy shit, did he really say MySpace?!?!” But it’s true: Meshuggah still have a MySpace page. The band is such a paradox; they’re both way ahead of and way behind their time.

ANYWAY, it’s always great to see Meshuggah live and I would certainly jump at the chance to do so again, but it’s the “official releases” bit that really intrigues me, just because it means there’s a chance of either some new shit, or, more likely, some previously-unreleased material (along with the usual remasters or whatever). That’s one gift that will keep on giving ’til the day I go deaf.
